30HOUR FAMINE CAMP

Uzbekistan!
Turns out that only 4people in my class went down for the camp because the rest back out last minute or smth. Kailing, Benedict and Wenjie and they all end up in the same country - Myanmar! We were splitted up to 8 different countries for the camp. Anyway the country thing is one whole big story. Initially, I was in Ethopia, Kailing is in Uzbekistan and KL's friend, chua (sorry i only know by that because KL only calls her that. lol) in Myanmar. During registration, they tied this country flag to our wrist and so we'll belong to whatever country that was tied to us. The wrist thing turn out to be loose for us and so we tried to swap countries so all 3 of us can end up in the same group. Anyway, I managed to change with another sa girl who don't mind being in Ethopia to Myanmar and then we found another Myanmar guy that is willing to change to Uzbek with Kailing but his wrist is probably too big or something, the flag refuses to come out and we couldn't change as a result. Ya, then finally, I changed with KL so she'll be in Myanmar with chua and I'll be in Uzbekistan. Okay la, I'm not that much of a saint as sajc wishes us to be because Geraldine and Evon are also in Uzbek, that's why I changed. heh

Met a whole load of acjc crescentians there while I think only 3 sajc crescentians went which was Geraldine, Evon and I! Anyway, while we gather in Uzbek for the same time, most of the saints there tried to like sit together so if they separate us into smaller groups we could like stay together since they were separating groups by the columns we sat in. The first time they separated, most of us were together but after that they realised that my group is an all girls group and so they started shifting around. bleh. Ended up in a group that is extremely cliquish. Ya, there's the vjc, acjc, ijtp, aj and only 3 sajc there. Evon, Wanyi and I. I bet the VJC people cheated la, it's like half of their canoeing team is there or smth so they all clique together and don't expose to anyone else, leaving the rest of the VJ non canoers another group. I think no one actually speak to the VJ canoers too unless you're a J2 ACJC guy. The ACJC splitted into 2 groups too- J1 and J2. Then the J2s consist of like 4 guys and a girl then the guys ended up being friends with the Vj canoers then the J2 acjc girl is weird too. She don't talk to the canoers or anyone else and she only follow the guys and talks to them. That Acjc girl turns out to be from the same primary school as me though. Wanyi, Evon and I ended up joining force with the only Aj girl, Tracy.

Started the role-playing games. I was a healthy kid initially but the country didn't give us enough money to go and study. So no choice, the 4 of us went to do organ dealing and I sold my liver as a result. Then we (minus Evon because she contracted AIDs after organ dealing. lol) went to do prostitution and I got AIDs! Having AIDs is dumb because you're supposed to wear this trash bag and walk around and so I did that for a few hours. Decided to do legal stuffs after that and we went to study and did a legal job. I ended up in manufacturing when I'm supposed to colour some pingpong balls and my whole hand became colourful after that too.

They had plenty of time since there were no dinner break and the nights were just filled with talks and lectures. There's this speaker that we all thought was freakin' fake cause she spoke with an accent and we all didn't like it. Before lights off, we played Bridge and we taught Wanyi Bridge who is SO blur! haha. Wah, was so tired when lights off I just slept and didn't care about the noise. Geraldine and co. went to sneak off somewhere to play Bridge la!

The next morning, I think the 4 of us (Evon, Geraldine, Louisa) who slept together were the last to wake up. The lights came back at 6am and that was supposedly our waking up time, and we woke up at that time to discover that everyone was alreading awake and I'm serious. People decided to starve and don't sleep as well. sigh. Day2 was so boring la. We just went around Tampines and collected newspaper from 21blocks. Knocked door by door! And it wasn't the whole country that collected together. We collected in the small groups that we were in from these blocks. Went back to RP around 3 and they said we had free time until 530! Goodness! Ended up playing bridge/daidee with S23/S26 people. And 75% of the camp were doing that too. LOL.

The concert. Okay, that was pretty much the last event of the camp and the host was the accented woman from the previous night. It turns out that the host was Jaymee Ong! Haha! to think we thought she was a fake. She don't look as slim as on photos which was weird cause it's normally the other way round. Counted up to the 30th hour and we got our food - a BK burger, which obviously didn't fill up most of our stomachs. Ended up going to causeway point with the S26 people.

Just this afternoon, I had a dream when taking a nap. And my dream was some Uzbekistan couple visiting their sick child in the hospital. World Vision should be glad to have impacted me to this extent. haha
